Influence of Process Parameters on the Electrodeposition of Vanadium in NaCl-KCl-NaF-V2O3 Molten Salt

چکیده
In NaCl-KCl-NaF-V2O3 molten salt, used graphite as an anode and carbon steel plate a cathode, vanadium was successfully prepared by salt electrodeposition. The reduction mechanism of electrodeposition is discussed, the influence NaF content, current density, temperature, time on are studied. optimum conditions obtained: composition XNaCl = 0.4, XKCl XNaF 0.2, V2O3 15%; adopt bidirectional pulse (pulse period T 1000 ms, positive negative ratio ip/in 6:1, tp/tn 3:1); density 200 mA·cm−2. temperature 973 K, 30 min.
